AUTHOR'S NOTE: This post is focused on how they took the book and turned it into a show. That's it. The show based on the book. How does it really match? Like any adaptation, it takes it's liberties and stretches the narrative to fit the method chosen to tell the story. Neflix's newest superhero struggles to see herself as a superhero. I think that is what helps make her easily identifyable. The whole angle of doubt is what helps make any character easily identifyable. This series deals with some serious topics.
